Jennifer Schrader has lived in the Chippewa Valley since attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the 1990s, where she earned a degree in Marketing.
She currently resides with her husband of 23 years and their 16-year-old daughter. Her son is attending UW Madison, pursuing a degree in Psychology. Jennifer also shares her home with two energetic cats and a newly adopted Shiba Inu that believes she is a cat.
One of Jennifer's favorite pastimes is dancing, and she enjoys leading Zumba classes. You can find her dancing several times a week at the YMCA and Dragonfly Fitness and Training. When she’s not dancing, she loves trying new recipes, reading, and creating costume jewelry.
In February 2023, Jennifer faced an unexpected challenge when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy, a mastectomy, and radiation, she is now living in remission.
This experience profoundly changed her and inspired her to create the café of her dreams, allowing her to make something positive out of this journey. She hopes to help others navigate their own journeys with the strength of community behind them.
